I think I have only been to Enchanted Kingdom twice or thrice in my life, the last time over a decade ago. EK is no Disneyland no doubt, but it's a refreshing trip down memory lane. True to its slogan, the magic really stays with you.
The funny thing about this trip was that my officemates ran down a roster of exciting destinations. Reminiscent of our summer trip to Baler, we had an ambitious beach trip idea with only five days to prepare. From La Union we settled for Batangas. But after five let's-take-a-vote attempts and gradually realizing no one was crazy enough to spearhead a short notice beach trip, almost everyone changed their minds and lifted their hand when EK was mentioned. For a South girl like me, the idea wasn't exactly exhilarating at first.
Mops and Pops
It was a bit frustrating that we were in sync with school field trips AND what-do-you-know, Aldub just so happened to be taping in the area. Imagine the ocean of adrenaline-filled adolescents and die-hard Aldub fans we had to compete with. And since the patience I have for queues is very limited, I only went on three rides. I'm glad enough that at 23, I finally worked up the courage to get on that Space Shuttle. Proud of myself that if not for the long lines, I would also go for Ekstreme. Haha!
And of course no trip of ours would be complete without our fake laugh photos
I'm happy beyond words that I had the chance to work in BPLAC because I don't know how boring my life would be right now if I didn't meet these beautiful people.
What a great way to start my favorite month!
